You'll think about your feet getting on, and again once or twice on the way up.

Oh my god, what was that?! That was amazing! I saw this strange ash going in this sort of spiral shape and was already intrigued, but of course you can't really climb it from that trunk, so I thought I climbed the maple that's sitting next to it. Well, that worked. It was quite difficult, though, to get to the first branch. I went through the prong and got my feet a little bit stuck, but eventually I was able to get up through that. From there on, it was very easy to go up and up and up and up and up. It actually goes up so high that it was a little bit dazzlingly high! A very fun part of the ascent is that at some points you have to cross over this bridge between the two prongs of the maple, and that bridge is the ash spiral thing that's just passing through here. That was already such a crazy cool moment! You can go up and up and up, and there are lots of nice places to sit. Just very lovely overall. Take care of the peely mossy things, but overall very doable. On the way back, on the way down, I was a little bit scared to go down via the normal route because what if my feet got stuck again or whatever? It's probably fine, but then I realized that I could probably go down on the ash spiral. That was so fun and cool to be able to round out the trip by descending on that particular tree, and it was so satisfying to land from there at the end. I think you can even also go up through this ash if you want, but it's a little bit scary, I have to say. It should be possible. There are many ways to go about this tree combination, and it's really, really fun!
